…of the idea to decorate an empty wall with several mirrors, or artwork for that matter. Traditionally, you would think to start with one main focal point, and possibly have two or three small pieces of decor surrounding. Here there are lots of small pieces that each gain equal attention, save for the last picture, which does have one rather large work of art in the center.

Have you heard of the Eat Like Me blog over on Self? If not, you have now. Cristin shares her breakfast, lunch, supper, and even snacks in between every day on her blog. The best part about all of this is the food looks delicious and it’s healthy. With each blog post, Cristin shares nutritional facts such as calories, so if you’re keeping up with them, this is an easy way to do so. I’ve already gotten lots of ideas and can’t wait to go grocery shopping.

Splurge or Save: Caged Ankle Boots

For the past week or so I have been eyeing a certain pair of Christian Louboutin caged ankle boots. (Kim Kardashian has been spotted wearing them here and here.) The only problem? You probably guessed it: the price tag, which is why I was elated when I found a pair of caged ankle boots very similar to the Louboutins I’ve been lusting after.

I can’t help but think about how close summer is with the beautiful weather we’ve been having lately in Tennessee. I’m talking 80 degrees and not a cloud in the sky for the past week. Yesterday, we went and got the boat out of storage to de-winterize it and might even go to the lake this weekend. I love the lake. It’s the closest thing I have to the real thing (the beach). With that being said, one thing comes to mind: it’s time to find new swim wear. I am so in love with this year’s wide variety of swim suits to choose from. Here are some of my picks for this summer.
